Heat treatment in a protective atmosphere into oil, line IPSEN / HSH

We operate three automated lines for heat and chemical/heat metal processing exclusively in a controlled atmosphere. Controlled atmospheres consist of various technical gases and enable amelioration, hardening, annealing, carburizing, nitrocarburizing, gas nitriding and carbonitriding while achieving high finish quality, meeting even the most demanding customers' requirements.

IPSEN / HSH

Application:

Heat treatment of structural and tool steels with an austenitizing temperature up to 1000°C. The protective atmosphere consists of endogas. The furnaces are controlled by the Process Electronic system.

This hardening line allows:

  • carburizing
  • carbonitriding
  • tempering
  • quenching
  • annealing in protective atmosphere
  • normalizing annealing in protective atmosphere

Maximum batch dimensions:

  • 900 x 570 x 380 mm

Max. batch weight:

  • 300 kg

Materials:

  • For carburizing: 16MnCr5 (1.7131), 20MnCr5 (1.7147), 14NiCr14 (1.5752), 15NiCr13 (1.5750), 18CrNiMo7-6 (1.6587), 17NiCrMo6-4 (1.6566), AISI 9310
