We are holders of certificate from the world's leading ship classification organization ABS, notification of the Defence Standardisation, Codification and Government Quality Assurance Authority and Supplier Qualification Certificate for České dráhy, a.s. (Czech Railways).
The laboratory is equipped with state-of-the-art instruments that ensure maximum quality of the parts we process. We offer the following services:
- Brinell hardness measurement
- Rockwell hardness measurement
- Vickers hardness and microhardness measurement
- Knoop hardness measurement
- Curve of hardness of layers after chemical/heat treatment
- Hardness measurement by portable hardness testers
- Metallographic evaluation on a Keyence digital microscope with the magnification of 250 - 2500 times
- Spectral analysis of metallic materials
In addition to measurements and analyzes, we are able to provide a number of other services in our laboratory - for example, evaluation of residual austenite by X-ray diffraction, evaluation of porosity of parts after 3D printing or mechanical testing services.
The laboratory cooperates with a number of specialized workplaces of VŠB - Technical University of Ostrava. These include the cooperation in the areas of 3D printed metal parts, HIP, evaluation and testing of new types of materials, etc.
